Hi,just dropped by and saw your video its great to be reminded what its all about..As a Basslayer myself i feel it is critical as you say to be there on the one and listen to the whole band the build ups and quiet lines there all important.Some of my favorite bass players like Adam nitti and Norm stockton, abe laboriel etc.. are great soloist but they stay in the pocket when they are playing within the band. Yes the simple lines are very often the ones the speak out the most that gets the message across. hankyou form reminding us of what its all about.
